Ariana Madix rocks the red carpet with sexy style at DirecTV and PEOPLE's reality show celebration

The 39-year-old Vanderpump Rules star arrived to host the DirecTV reality show's gala in a long black dress with sheer details and glitter stripes. The design offered a glimpse of her toned torso and the black pants she wore underneath the dress.

At the event, held at the Astor Hotel in New York City on Thursday, September 26, Madix also accessorized with silver accessories, including a bracelet and a ring. Her hair was pulled back in a high bun. She wore natural makeup.

The event was co-hosted by PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly and attracted a host of reality stars, including Harry Jowsey, Scheana Shay, Kathy Hilton and Joey Graziadei.

Madix also courted controversy with her moderation job. In 2024, she became a permanent host of Love Island USA, bringing her trademark wit as well as impeccable style to the show.

The star spiced up the reality dating series with a series of daring looks. As she told PEOPLE before the Season 6 finale, she "can't pick a favorite."

She did, however, mention the sexy gold cut-out dress by Di Pezza that she wore on the show's first episode, in which she made her hosting debut. "It was so cool and fun and just beautiful," Star said of the design. "It has rose quartz crystals in it and everything is really amazing."

Madix worked with stylist Emily Meng to create her Love Island looks.

"Being able to work with Emily means that she can actually find and get the things that I've always loved," Star said. "If I let it continue like this, I might get to a point where I think, 'OK, this moment is over.'"

On Aug. 27, Maddix finished her second Broadway run, where she played the role of murderous adulterer Roxie Hart in the Tony Award-winning revival of the iconic "Chicago." Her first 10-week run in Broadway's longest-running American musical, which began in January and ended in April, broke box office records after four weeks.

As for her return to the reality TV stage, Vanderpump Rules is on a planned hiatus ahead of its upcoming 12th season.
